Release v3.1.4
3.1.4 introduces the Extension Store (experimental) and Reaktor Trace Walk (preview). Platform capabilities now appear as installable extensions with their own roles and categories. You can step through a reaktor run's trace directly on its diagram, including a live mode that follows a running reaktor. Streaming AI steps are fully traceable, and their result is reusable downstream.
For Users
Extension Store (experimental)
- Extension Store: A new store at
/extensionspresents platform capabilities as installable extensions, with App-Store-style detail pages, collapsible category sections, a capabilities overview, and a Roles tab. Extensions can bring their own roles. - Extension Manager role: A dedicated role controls who can access the Extension Store.
- Audit extension (experimental): Audits (EU AI Act, GDPR) are now an installable extension, enabled per organization in the Extension Store. While enabled, App Managers and App Developers can view audits read-only; editing requires the Audit Editor role, and approving or reopening an audit requires the Audit Manager role.
- Reporting extension: Reporting ships as an extension that brings the Reporting Manager role.
Fixes
- Store list alignment: Trailing icons in the App Store and Extension Store stay aligned on a single right edge, including when the list scrolls.
For Developers
Reaktor Trace Walk (preview)
- Trace on the diagram: See a reaktor run's trace directly on its diagram. Step through the run with play and auto-advance, follow a running reaktor in a live mode that updates as it executes, step by value change, collapse and expand groups, switch between a static blueprint and the trace, inspect nodes in a resizable side panel, and apply model-level filters and zoom.
Tracing
- Streaming step tracing: In debug mode a streaming AI step is observable chunk by chunk, so a streamed run is traceable and an aborted stream shows where it stopped.
- Reusable streamed result: After a streaming step finishes, its full result is published as the step value, so a downstream step reuses it without a second AI call.
Performance
- Faster AI calls: AI calls start sooner because their independent inputs are resolved concurrently instead of one after another.
Permissions
- Composite roles: Role gating is path-sensitive and correctly covers composite roles. Extension-gated roles are hidden from role pickers when the extension is not enabled.
Upgrade Notes
- Audits now gated by the Audit extension: After upgrading, the Audits tab is hidden until an organization installs the Audit extension in the Extension Store. Nothing is auto-enabled. Editing audits now requires the new Audit Editor role, so App Manager and App Developer no longer edit audits until granted it.
- Chat app per-app database migration: When upgrading from a version that used a shared Agent DB, import the legacy Agent DB via the App Instance "Import from Agent DB" action before the new per-app database accumulates data.
